I'm looking for a Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, and operations of modern network infrastructure across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical depth, a focus on automation, and a passion for reliable, secure systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and cloud networking components.

• Lead and execute lifecycle management, upgrades, incident response, and preventative maintenance.

• Maintain and improve high-availability, secure network environments through automation and observability practices.

• Collaborate with security, operations, and engineering teams on cross-functional initiatives.

• Document standards, configurations, and processes; ensure alignment with best practices.

• Champion infrastructure-as-code principles and drive network automation.

Essential Requirements

• 2+ years of enterprise network support experience.

• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security platforms.

• Strong technical knowledge of Layer 2–7 networking, including BGP, VLAN, VXLAN, DHCP, DNS, and QoS.

• Scripting skills with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar.

• Familiarity with network monitoring and incident response tools.

• Experience with VPNs, wireless networks, and certificate-based security.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.

• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

• Exposure to Juniper Networks, AWS, or Azure networking.

• Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, JNCIA, JNCIS, or AWS/Azure Networking certifications.
